HelpHero is a social gathering place where friends and causes intersect to create a positive change in the world, together. Our app enables users to make microdonations towards local philanthropic causes that matter to them.

Our mission is to revolutionize charitable giving. We use technology to directly connect people and causes in ways that are efficient, transparent and fun. We want users to connect easily to any organization at any time to increase the efficiency of raising funds. HelpHero was built on the belief that even the smallest efforts can change the world.

Organizations are notified of available funds and are tasked with fulfillment when using HelpHero. Users can easily make microdonations through the app, and these small contributions add up to make a significant impact.

After you make a donation through HelpHero, we want to show you the impact your contribution has made. Once fulfillment is verified via a video recording and submitted back to HelpHero, funds are disbursed to the organization, and the video of your donation making a real change is sent to your preferred social handle. This way, you can see firsthand how your donation has helped a local cause in real time, and spread the joy of making a positive change in the world.

At HelpHero, we carefully select a range of charitable organizations that align with our mission. While you cannot choose a specific organization to receive your donation at this time, there is a plan for future development of this feature in the pipeline. Rest assured that all funds are allocated to reputable and impactful organizations, a list of which can be found here within the app.

The Service Providers that HelpHero partners with are personally reviewed by our team. All organizations are given any materials required to complete donation fulfillment and ensure the fidelity of HelpHero's process from start to finish. Additionally, all potential partners are reviewed against the watchdog list produced by our colleagues at the Southern Poverty Law Center, the preeminent U.S. non-profit organization that tracks extremist groups across the country.

As much as you are comfortable with. Every contribution counts, no matter the amount. We believe that by making donations accessible and inclusive, we can create a significant collective impact.

HelpHero is not a registered nonprofit organization, so donations made through the app are not tax-deductible. However, we work closely with recognized local philanthropic organizations that meet the necessary criteria for tax-deductible donations. If you require a tax deduction, we recommend donating directly to those organizations.

To get started, simply download the HelpHero app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once you've installed the app, follow the registration process to create an account. From there, you can explore the featured causes and make your first microdonation.

We take the security and privacy of our users very seriously. HelpHero employs industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your personal information. We do not share your data with any third parties without your explicit consent.

Absolutely! You can share your donation video beyond social media platforms. We provide an option to download the video from the app, allowing you to share it through various channels like email or messaging apps.

At this time, all videos submitted by our Service Providers are publicly posted. This is due to the nature of multiple microdonations adding up to fulfill a need.

Visually, a clear shot of the service being rendered with no obstructions or blurs. Do your best to limit background noise so everyone can understand the wonderful impact of the donations. Finally, feel free to share the story of your cause and how much of a difference the microdonations make in your day-to-day.

Setting up donations is as easy as connecting your mobile wallet to our app.

Yes! All you need is a valid credit card. You need not be enrolled in a mobile wallet.

All donations are transferred to a secure Stripe account and held until the cause is fulfilled and donors receive video validation. Once the video is distributed, funding is immediately released to the partners fulfilling the needs.

We never charge for making a donation. Our income as a company relies completely on tips provided by awesome people like you!

At HelpHero, we greatly appreciate the tips we receive from our users. These tips play a vital role in supporting and maintaining the HelpHero infrastructure. They help cover operational costs, ensure the smooth functionality of the app, and allow us to continue onboarding more Service Providers.

Within the app, you will see a button to invite friends to the platform. We invite anyone to get involved and see how a minor donation can change lives.

100% of the donation goes to the Service Provider receiving your donation.

If you would like to become involved in the HelpHero mission, please submit all inquiries to ariana@helphero.io and one of our team members will reach out to you to discuss the vetting process.

All donations are deployed after the Service Provider completes a video validating the donation being used and submits to HelpHero.

At this time, we are encouraging our Service Providers to share the experience of operating within the HelpHero app as a hub for donating. There is a roadmap in place that creates an opportunity to get donations in hand faster, and we will notify all Service Providers when the new features will roll out.
